2nd Class performed at our school concert as part of the celebrations for Proclamation Day on Tuesday 15th March. It was Lá Glas so we all wore green for the day!!! We recited two poems as Gaeilge and then performed An Haka Gaelach. We had great fun!!!

Father Hugh popped in to see us today. He told us a story. We enjoy his visits and look forward to them!!!
We had great fun this morning in our classroom exploring capacity in maths. Look at some of the fun we had!!!
Huge well done to Lara, Kieya and Lexie. They had a dancing competition on Sunday. Last week, the girls kept us updated on their preparations and even gave us a sneak preview of their performances! They came in on Monday and told us all about their experience on Sunday!!! The class loved hearing about it and are super proud of the girls!!!
Second Class have been busy making masks for Halloween. They look absolutely incredible. Our teacher is so proud of the effort we put into making them!!! First, we had to decide what to make. Then, we each came up with a plan to bring our own mask to life!!!. After that, we painted our masks and left them to dry. Then, came the BEST part!!! We got to decorate our masks. We could use anything we wanted; glitter glue, crepe paper, ribbon, tinfoil, pipe cleaners, stickers, shapes, foam, felt, wool, gummed paper and feathers. We can't wait to bring them home this week and some of us are wearing them as part of our costumes for Halloween!!!Have a look at our creations below and let us know what you think!!!
