We practiced for weeks and then today finally came! Watch our trailer for our latest production!
Thriller Night from St Josephs Co-Ed on Vimeo. We made brilliant photo frames using scraffiti techniques. First we cut out our frames, then we used crayons to colour them in. Then we painted a black paint over them and scratched out our designs. Teacher got up very early this morning to photograph the Blood Moon. We asked her about it and she said "It's not the best photo but seeing the Blood Moon for real was amazing"
We learned all about Andy Warhol. He was a famous pop artist. He had funny hair and like to paint cans of soup! (and Marilyn Monroe!). We made pop art painting of other famous people - ourselves!
We've spent the last week learning all about electricity. We conducted experiments on static electricity and discovered we are electric!!! We made a human circuit using a ghost ball and then we made simple circuits using batteries, wires and a bulb.
We also made series circuits and next week we are going to design and make a steady hand game and rainbow spinners. We'll post the pictures as soon as we can! We now have our own Twitter page! We are very excited about connecting with classes all over the world. We will be tweeting about what we are up to in class. Please follow us @lovinlearning
