We were learning all about length in Maths.
We had to estimate the length and height of different things in the school (like the corridor, classroom door, interactive whiteboard and the gym) and then we had to properly measure them and record our answers. It was interesting comparing our estimates to the actual measurements. Some were really close… and some not so close (the gym was the hardest to estimate). We also discovered that it is really important to use the correct instrument at the correct time. The trundle wheel wasn't very useful for accurately measuring the door (we tried our best though). :)
