We were talking about gravity in science recently. One of our experiments was to drop an egg out the classroom window. As we predicted, it smashed and made a very sticky mess!
We were then split into groups and given another egg. Our challenge was to design and build a parachute to stop our egg from cracking when we dropped it out the window. We were only allowed to use items found in our classroom. We designed our parachutes using our lunch bags, wool, paper, sellotape, sandwich bags and tissue paper. It was great fun building our designs and most of the eggs made it back to the classroom in one piece. :)
