October was a ghoulishly good month of learning in rang a cúig. The boys and girls produced quality pieces of writing about the history of Halloween, the origins of the banshee and the life and times of Abraham 'Bram' Stoker. They had fun writing their own scary stories and acrostic poems. All of their best efforts are on display on Ár mBalla Scríbhneoireachta.
In November we will be observing and exploring the effects of static electricty, examining conductors and insulators and constructing simple circuits. We are really eager to learn about the destruction in Pompeii and the lives of the Romans during this time. We are especially excited about making our own clay model volcanoes.
