On the 24th October, our class went to Trinity College to take part in a programme called “Science Forward.” We went on a tour of the campus and heard all about the history of Trinity College. We were brought into the science building where we saw the science labs but we weren’t allowed to go inside because there were too many dangerous chemicals!!
Our photographs show us doing the CSI experiment. We dressed in white lab coats and wore protective glasses. We were given two white containers of powder and had to figure out what they were. We put iodine into one of the containers and vinegar in the other. The two powders reacted immediately and through a process of elimination, we figured out the powder was baking soda. After our fantastic day in Trinity College, we all talked about going there some day to study Science! By Kathlyn, Chloe, Ciara, Hope and Jade.
