Maths week!
Maths week ran from October 12th - October 19th and there were so many fun maths activities happening all around St Josephs that week. From maths trails to maths art, manga high to maths games all of the classrooms had such great fun with maths.

The school choir have been busy rehearsing for the East Wall Christmas Fair, which is taking place on Sunday 1st December.

Food Appeal
The food appeal for SVDP was a huge success. Christmas is a wonderful time of year for so many but it is important to remember that it can also be a difficult time for people. It was lovely to see so many of the children thinking of others at this time of year. Well done to everybody who contributed!

No Homework!!!
All the children in the school were delighted to receive a night off homework yesterday following the schools success at an event in the Mansion House on Friday as part of Green Schools.

Infant Nativity Play
The children from Reception, Junior Infants and Senior Infants will be performing their Infant Nativity Play, Whoops-A-Daisy-Angel for the children and staff in the school today. This is ahead of their performances for parents/guardians and grandparents on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th December. Performances on these days will take place at 11:30am in the school hall.

The school choir have been extremely busy over the last few weeks with rehearsals and events! They have been doing an amazing job representing our school!!!
They sang at the annual Christmas Fair in East Wall on Sunday 1st December. Well done to Ms. Ferguson, Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Mangan who were there with the children on the day!
The choir sang Christmas Carols for a number of businesses in the IFSC last Friday and in A&L Goodbody on the quays yesterday to raise money for our school. . Well done to Ms. Walsh, Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Mangan who were with the children at these events.
