One Book, One Community

6th Class attended the closing ceremony of the 'One Book, One Community' project. This year's book was 'The Blue Horse' by Marita Conlon-McKenna. It tells the story of a young traveller named Katie who has to move into a settled community when her family home is destroyed. The children were delighted to get the chance to meet the author in person at the ceremony.
