Our phrase of the day today is "Go raibh maith agat". Please remember that the school is closed next Monday (16th March) and Tuesday (17th March).
The Parents Association is encouraging everybody in the school community to enjoy some Tech Free Fun throughout the week. Sixth and Fifth will be displaying their activities on the board in the gym this week.
Remember Seachtain na Gaeilge will finish on Friday with Lá Glas.
Well done to the boys and girls that took part in the matches last Friday.
Today marked the start of Seachtain na Gaeilge in our school. It will be running until Friday (13th March). All children in the school found out what their name is in Irish. They wrote their name 'as Gaeilge' on flashcards and decorated them. These will be on display in the gym this week. Our phrase of the day was 'Dia duit, a mhúinteoir'.
March is Health and Well-being Month in our school. This initiative is being organised by the Parent's Association.
We would love to see parents/guardians and grandparents joining us in the school for our first Walk on Wednesday which is taking place on the 4th March. A note went home with your child yesterday with all the details. Every child in the school will be given Healthy Homework on Wednesday 4th March. Children are encouraged to take part in a healthy activity (e.g. walk, run, meditate) with parents/guardians at home in place of dictation homework. Each child is free to choose their own healthy activity and record it in their journal. Pupil of the Month for February will take place this Friday (28th February). Hope to see you all there!
