Our School
St. Joseph’s Co-ed. is a mixed primary school located in East Wall, a vibrant, inner city village on the north side of Dublin. It is a Catholic co-educational school serving the community of East Wall and is under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin.
Our school provides a secure and welcoming environment to all our students. It is a place where children are nurtured and learning is valued and encouraged. St. Joseph’s has an excellent team of highly trained educators who work extremely hard to raise not only academic standards but also to encourage confidence, tolerance and respect between the children. This positive and enthusiastic ethos is commented on by many visitors to the school and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the staff here in St. Joseph’s.
St. Joseph’s Co-ed. has recently undergone major refurbishment. Our school now has excellent facilities including interactive whiteboards and internet access in each classroom, a dedicated and up to date computer lab, PE hall and a beautiful new infant playground.
Our classes begin with Reception Class and run through to Sixth Class and at present there are nine mainstream classes and these are supported by a Resource teacher, Learning Support teacher, a Home School Liaison Officer and a Language Support teacher. There are also dedicated Special Needs Assistants in our school.
