We had a special pupil of the month today in the hall. Parents and family members were invited to come along and there was a big turn out, which was great to see!!! All the children have settled into their new school and class really well. They have come on in leaps and bounds since they started. It is so important that the children enjoy school life and are happy. So, Ms. Fitzpatrick picked three children who help make our classroom a positive and enjoyable environment for teaching and learning. Ava got pupil of the month for being so cooperative and attentive in class. As a result she has made amazing progress since she started!!! Lacey got pupil of the month for her kindness to both her teacher and her classmates. This is a lovely quality to see!!! Cristian got pupil of the month for his amazing attitude and enthusiasm every day. He bounds in the door every morning with a huge smile on his face. He always tries his best and gives everything 100%. WELL DONE to Ava, Lacey and Cristian.
Sean C. was our regular reader for December. Well done Sean and keep it up!!! On Wednesday we had a special visitor in our classroom. SANTA!!! We were so excited!!! Santa had presents for us all in his big red sack.
Well done to Aymaan. He was chosen for the positivity wall this week. Aymaan comes into school every morning with the biggest smile on his face, which brightens up our classroom, even on the darkest mornings!!!
We are all very excited because we are putting up the Christmas tree and all the decorations in our classroom tomorrow afternoon!!! Check back to see photos of how we got on.
We have been doing loads of work around the well known fairytale The Gingerbread Man this month. We were so lucky today because Alfie brought in some gingerbread for us to enjoy eating. We were so glad they didn't run away on us!!! They were YUMMY!!!
We went out to visit the chickens for the first time today. It was SO EXCITING!!!. They were so hungry so we fed them apples. They really enjoyed them. We can't wait to go out and visit the chickens again soon.
